⌈ CHARACTER SECTION ⌉

Character: Juli Sieben
Age: Some hundred
Canon: Senyuu.
Canon Point: niconico comic, post vol. 4

Background: link.

Personality: Juli is the type of person who loves fighting. He enjoys the challenge of fighting against strong people because it will give him an opportunity to become even stronger than he already is (and he's already a very strong demon), but even more than that, he loves to fight those that are weaker than him. This he enjoys because he has a great thirst for blood and violence, and he enjoys mauling people down and killing people. It's a great feeling to be feared, you know. He wants to revive the first demon king Rchimedes because he loves chaos and violence. His favorite job that Dezember sends him out on is getting rid of people that needs to be killed, and he likes to crush them under his dragon feet. It's very satisfying to feel and hear bones break underfoot.

He's a very cheerful guy about it, too. So while he's physically strong, he's also strong mentally. He considers Janua mentally weak because Janua can't kill people, and considers his own mind strong because he can kill without any hesitation. He takes things very easily, and isn't all that bothered about his comrades being mauled down. Sure it might upset whatever plans are in motion or whatever, but he doesn't care all that much, as long as he gets to have some fun. Because to him, fights are games. He is playful and most of the time, he can't help but being cheerful about most things even if it means he ends up laughing at the misfortune of a friend. He's not the biggest sadist among the demons, but he is one of the sadists, none the less. But he doesn't take things very seriously.

It is a bit annoying when people are unexpectedly strong, though. If he expected an easy job, he can get a bit irritated that he gets interrupted. People who gets in the way of his fun are the worst, seriously. They're such a damn pain in the ass. Plus, he's an impatient guy, who doesn't like to be bored. He's also easily distracted, and if he finds something being really boring or uninteresting, he'll turn his attention elsewhere and might wander off. He can be a bother, according to his allies, because of that.

He's also a bit naive and forgetful. He doesn't overthink things and doesn't like complicated things because that's such a bother. And he doesn't like having to put in too big of an effort into things that are not fights, so if something bothersome appears, he'll just proceed to ignore it. He doesn't always pay attention to what he's told. Because of this he's also a little forgetful. For example, for a moment he forgot that he was not supposed to kill Janua, and almost ended up doing so. Thankfully (honestly, he was thankful for it), Janua was saved and didn't actually get killed, even if he got a bit mauled. Juli would have gotten into a lot of trouble if he had actually killed Janua, who was still an important piece in the game. He doesn't like getting into trouble.

His naivety also makes him a bit childish. Sure, it's the cruel kind of childishness (normal children would just think it's enough to pull wings off of flies and things like that but he goes a bit further, as is apparent from above) but it's childishness none the less. He's a lazy guy who doesn't like to do things that takes much effort but he does like to have fun. He likes comics (comedy and bloody things are great) and he likes to play games. He also likes to grow dragon wings and fly, from time to time. His cheerful attitude can make him pretty friendly, when he's not trying to kill you. If someone is interesting he'll engage, and if something catches his attention he'll investigate. And he'll get along just fine with people if they can tolerate his comments about gore and violence.

Well.. At least he always keeps his promises. Trickery isn't really his thing, after all. He's more fond of straightforwardness.

As for how he works with his allies, it's a use and be used situation, where everyone are aware that they're being used by everyone else. More or less, anyway. Since Dezember has several different personalities, Juli treats them differently. It's only the main Dezember that is treated with half a semblance of respect, the other ones are more or less dismissed entirely. Some of them are even disgusting because they're so pathetic and fears everything. Justice, Dezember's wife-to-be, is both scary and someone to ignore. She's all about Dezember and his gloomy shadows anyway, so even if she's the strongest demon, it's possible to just ignore her as long as you don't do anything bad to Dezember in front of her. It hinders his messing with the more annoying Dezembers but the coward Dezember won't tell her so as long as she's not around to know, he can still mess with him without any problem. When she's around he's a bit more careful though, because she can pummel him to the ground and beat him up so easily and he's not too fond of pain. He would recommend not upsetting that woman. When it comes to September, he was just someone that he could use to get his manga for half price. They do have the same taste in manga, anyway, so they get along a little and talk about the manga that they read. Otherwise Juli thinks that September is lame, because September wears such a stupid outfit and at the same time thinks that he's cool in it. That is, September thinks it's cool and fearsome, Juli thinks it's lame and not at all fear-inspiring.

If he's used and doesn't get a chance to use the person using him in return, he'll be upset. Otherwise, being used doesn't bother him all that much.

Abilities: Shapeshifting: Only into a dragon but. He can change any part of his body into that of a dragons, both partially and entirely. When he doesn't do a full change, he prefers to either only change his head, or his arm. He can also alter the size of his body, so he can either remain his normal size (he's not all that tall) or become huge. He also likes using the wings that he can grow to fly.

Besides shapeshifting though, he's good at fighting hand-to-hand, even if he really prefers using his shape shifting abilities. He's also very strong and fast, and resilient, and he heals faster than humans.

Game World Skills: game soundtrack (the sounds made when you level up), screens ("a wild fake panda has appeared", "title/ name" screens, including typo's) HP & XP bars. They're not present all the time but they do appear once in a while, and sort of come with the characters. Sometimes on demand; they can also talk to the narrator or the "voice of god" or what to call it, sometimes.

Alignment: Aiada: He is generally cheerful and energetic, and loves to cause mayhem. He likes to show his appreciation by messing with people and his respect by not causing as much trouble for them. If he is upset with someone, or envious of them, he causes way worse trouble, though.

Juli watches the sun go up with boredom. He's been sitting outside all night reading a stack of comic books, and he's just reached a point in the story that he finds pretty boring. For a horror series, there's an awful lot of romance in it, and he has zero interest in romance. Action, horror, gore, supernatural, whatever, he likes a lot of stuff like that, but he doesn't care for romance.

Usually he would be asleep by this time, and inside, not outside and awake, but he found a shit-load of comics that doesn't exist in the demon world or in the human world, so he has a lot of material to catch up to.

Is it pretty? The sunrise. He's never really paid attention to sunrises before. Probably because he's never been outside or by a window or awake at this hour. People would probably say that it is, but he cares more for the sun rising to give some warmth, than the light. He closes his eyes and flops down on his back on the bench he's got books piled up on, and imagines that the sun doesn't only slowly warm him where he's turned toward it, but also the seat he's laying on.

Except a couple minutes later, he realizes that it might not only be his imagination, and he sits up, eyes snapping open, and he pats the wooden seat, transforming his hand into a dragons hand to see if it's his human skin that's playing a trick on him, and he can feel the bench cool down under his scales. "That's new magic," he comments, transforming his hand back from the dragon claw, and hums in interest. Maybe he could do that again? He doesn't know how to but he can try.
